I am Sabbir Hasan and I teach Physics and Higher Maths to HSC and SSC students in Dhaka. I keep batches to six students, test every week, and send parents an honest progress note each month.

I did my BSc and MSc in Physics at Dhaka University and started tutoring in my second year because I needed the money. Nine years later it is the only job I want. I have taught about four hundred students, most of them through their HSC. My method is boring and it works. Concept first, then a worked problem, then you do one in front of me so I can see where the thinking breaks. I do not move on until that is fixed, even if it costs half a session. Batches are capped at six. Every Friday there is a written test on the week's topic, marked and returned with comments by Sunday. Parents get a short monthly note that says what improved, what did not, and what I am doing about it. No child is quietly carried along.
Full syllabus with derivations done properly, plus board question practice from the last ten years.
Calculus, vectors and complex numbers, taught so the method holds up under exam pressure.
Class 9 and 10, building the base that HSC will later depend on.
Engineering and university admission maths and physics, in a separate evening batch.
Six weeks before the exam, built around the chapters the student is actually weak in.
My son had failed Physics twice in college tests. Sabbir sir started him from Class 9 chapters again, which I did not like at the time. He got A in the board exam.
Six students, and I do not make exceptions. The admission batch goes to eight because the format is more lecture-based.
